ABOUT TIME TRAVEL
We all have wished at some time in our lives to go back to the past and clear all our mistakes, or see our fascinating future. Scientists such as Newton, Galeilio or Maxwell all have given some sort of explanation about time travel. The most important fact is that it is never denied scientifically that time travel is the reality only in fascination. In fact, Newton's theory of relativity and explanations about wormholes and flexibility of time and space has made it possible for scientists to figure out about time travel in the mere future.
How time travel is possible?
1)- Although there are lots of paradoxes about Time travel, the main idea about time travel comes from wormholes. These are, according to Newton, tunnels in the spacetime(time and space together is known as spacetime) through which distances or time in the universe can be changed. These are energy fluctuations in the spacetime, which consists both positive and negative energy.
We might have heard about some cases in which aircrafts disappear and reappear after some years, or some transport going to some location but somehow accidentally went to some other place, or some people who experienced time travel, for example a person in 1990 who was cleaning his kitchen closets, went inside the closets to clean them, but to his surprise, when he came out, he found himself in 2042. These incidents can only be explained through wormholes. Somehow a spacetime energy fluctuation, called wormhole is encountered in these cases, they entered into the one side of it, and went out to the other side, and due to fluctuation, their space and time is changed.
Now, we know that all the bodies in the universe, including the universe itself has some amount of mass. From a tiny bacteria cell to the whole universe, everything has some amount of mass. And since everything have mass, it shows resistance to change( inertia). The mass is amount of matter contained in a body, and since amount can be both positive and negative, there comes the concept of bodies having negative mass. These bodies are highly unstable, and their negative mass increase with the increase in positive mass inside them. For ex- A blackhole, which is a body having negative mass, and the size of a black hole increases with the amount of mass that disappears inside the black hole.
So, the idea of a wormhole is that whenever some sort of negative and positive energy is collided, there is created some tunnel like region around the energy through which time and distance in spacetime of a body entering the wormhole tunnel is altered.
2)- The second way by which we can time travel is through speed. If we travel close to the speed of light, we will experience the phenomenon known as time dilation, i.e. the time will become slow for a body moving very fast. Since, both space and time are connected, (according to Newton's theory about spacetime), it explains the relation of time with speed and distance covered. This thing happens to people in the spacecrafts. When they complete their journey of one year and return to earth a year after, they will find that more than 82 years would have passed( if they were traveling at the speed of light). This is the standard way to the time travel to future, but it is not practical to time travel in past How?
Why Time Travel to Past is only theoretically possible?
Consider you went to past through time travel, and were able to change the incidents that happened with you. Suppose you helped your friend from dying in the past. But in the current life, he is dead, and if you saved him by going to that past, what will happen in the current world? That is against the laws of the nature( someone who is dead or something that is already happened cannot be altered). That is why scientists imaging time travel to past only theoretically possible.
There are a lots of mysteries in the universe, and time travel is the one which is yet to be solved. In next few decades or so, science would have discovered time altering possibilities and transports such as a time machine.
