India vs NewZealand- World Cup 2019

After 16 years of not getting a chance of facing off each other, India and New Zealand are finally in front of each other at Nottingham Stadium, UK.

While the chances of rain are quite high this noon at Nottingham, the fans are arriving at full pace to cheer their team. The meteorological department has predicted that there will be a 50% chance of precipitation. With grey skies, Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult will get a high chance to swing the ball with more spectale. And both the teams are in outstanding form to match the test.

Team Status:

While India is in excellent form with a dangerous top order, the only set back they that seems to have is the injury of Shikhar Dhavan on his thumb, leading him to a 2 week rest with KL Rahul Expected to take his place.

There is no big advantage to New Zealand in this match, since their opening partnership is least productive since 2015. They rely on middle order for most of the runs.

With such conditions, we can expect to be a grayish, bowler friendly  day and it will be excited to watch who can rise above.

Team Standings:

The current team standings till match are:

Team Squad:

India: Virat Kohli (c), Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Vijay Shankar, Kedar Jadhav, MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah.

New Zealand: Kane Williamson (c), Martin Guptill, Colin Munro, Ross Taylor, Tom Latham, James Neesham, Colin de Grandhomme, Mitchell Santner, Matt Henry, Lockie Ferguson, Trent Boult.
